Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of selfshotvr.com and related Self Shot VR services, pages, forms, and pre-launch platform features operated by Self Shot VR Inc. (“Self Shot VR,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing the site, joining the waitlist, submitting an application, or otherwise using Self Shot VR, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

1. Pre-Launch Platform

Self Shot VR is currently in pre-launch development. The site is being used to provide information, collect waitlist signups, and review applications from creators, studios, production teams, catalog owners, and rights holders interested in publishing immersive video content.

Public account registration, public content access, viewer purchases, creator uploads, and monetized publishing may not yet be available to the public.

We may add, remove, limit, modify, suspend, or discontinue any pre-launch feature at any time.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Self Shot VR, join the waitlist, submit an application, or seek publishing access.

By using the site, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the authority to agree to these Terms.

3. Waitlist

You may join the waitlist to receive Self Shot VR platform updates, launch news, viewer access announcements, creator publishing updates, studio onboarding updates, and related platform information.

Joining the waitlist does not guarantee:

* Platform access
* Early access
* Viewer access
* Account approval
* Creator or studio approval
* Any specific launch date
* Any specific feature, content, or service availability

We may remove waitlist entries, reject submissions, or stop sending updates at our discretion.

4. Applications to Publish

Creators, studios, production teams, catalog owners, rights holders, and other applicants may submit an application for publishing consideration.

Submitting an application does not guarantee:

* Approval
* Account access
* Creator or studio onboarding
* Publishing access
* Content approval
* Monetization
* Distribution
* Any particular launch timeline

We may review, approve, reject, defer, or ignore applications at our discretion.

5. Accuracy of Information

You agree that information you submit through the site will be accurate, current, and not misleading.

You may not submit false contact information, impersonate another person or entity, misrepresent your rights, misrepresent your relationship to content, or provide misleading application materials.

6. Rights and Authorization

If you submit an application or information about content, you represent that you own or control the rights to the content you want to submit, or that you are authorized to represent the rights holder.

You understand that additional creator, studio, performer, age, identity, rights, and compliance documentation may be required before any content can be published.

Self Shot VR may require additional review before granting access to publishing tools, approving content, displaying content, or enabling paid access.

7. Content Categories and Adult Content

Self Shot VR is being built for immersive video experiences across SFW and adult categories.

Adult content, if supported, will be handled through controlled access, age-appropriate safeguards, and additional review standards.

You may not use public forms to submit unlawful content, exploitative content, non-consensual content, content involving minors, content that violates rights of publicity or privacy, or content you do not have the right to distribute.

8. No Public Upload or Publishing Right

No person or entity has a right to upload, publish, sell, distribute, or display content through Self Shot VR unless and until Self Shot VR grants appropriate access and approval.

We may deny, limit, revoke, suspend, or remove publishing access at any time.

9. Permitted Use

You may use the site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You agree not to:

* Attempt to access non-public parts of the platform without authorization
* Attempt to bypass access controls, registration restrictions, review gates, or security features
* Interfere with site operation, hosting, analytics, forms, or infrastructure
* Submit spam, abusive content, malware, scripts, or harmful materials
* Scrape, copy, harvest, or misuse site data
* Use the site to violate laws, regulations, third-party rights, or platform policies
* Attempt to create accounts or access features not open to the public

10. Accounts and Access

Public registration may be disabled during pre-launch. Login routes or private platform areas may exist for internal, admin, approved creator, studio, or development use.

The existence of a login page, dashboard, creator portal, admin page, or private route does not grant permission to access it.

11. Intellectual Property

Self Shot VR, the Self Shot VR name, logo, branding, site design, software, text, graphics, and related materials are owned by Self Shot VR Inc. or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or exploit Self Shot VR materials without permission.

12. Materials You Submit

You retain ownership of information, messages, links, application materials, and other content you submit, subject to any rights you already granted to others.

By submitting materials to Self Shot VR, you grant us permission to review, store, process, display internally, evaluate, and use those materials as needed to review your application, communicate with you, operate the platform, prepare onboarding, and assess potential publishing access.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights necessary to submit any materials or links you provide.

13. Third-Party Links and Services

The site may link to third-party websites, portfolios, social platforms, hosting services, or other resources. We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, practices, or availability.

14. No Professional Advice

Information on the site is provided for general informational and platform-related purposes only. It is not legal, tax, accounting, compliance, financial, or professional advice.

You are responsible for obtaining your own professional advice where appropriate.

15. Disclaimers

Self Shot VR is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We do not guarantee that the site or platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, available at any particular time, or free from bugs or defects.

We do not guarantee platform launch timing, approval, publishing access, monetization, viewer traffic, revenue, content availability, or commercial results.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Self Shot VR Inc. and its owners, officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, service providers, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost business, lost opportunity, or platform unavailability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims related to the site or these Terms will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100) or the amount you paid to Self Shot VR for the relevant service, whichever is greater.

17. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Self Shot VR Inc. and its owners, officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, service providers, and affiliates from and against claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from or related to:

* Your use of the site
* Your submissions
* Your application materials
* Your violation of these Terms
* Your violation of law
* Your violation of third-party rights
* Your content, rights claims, or publishing representations

18. Changes to the Site or Terms

We may update the site, platform features, application process, policies, or these Terms at any time.

Updated Terms may be posted on this page with a new effective date. Changes are effective when posted unless stated otherwise.

Your continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

19. Termination or Restriction

We may suspend, restrict, block, remove, or terminate access to the site, waitlist, application process, or platform features at any time if we believe it is appropriate, including for violations of these Terms, security reasons, compliance reasons, business reasons, or misuse of the site.

20. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Privacy Policy

Self Shot VR Inc. (“Self Shot VR,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit selfshotvr.com, join our waitlist, submit an application, or otherwise interact with our pre-launch platform.

Self Shot VR is currently in pre-launch development. Our public site is primarily used to provide information, collect waitlist signups, and review applications from creators, studios, production teams, catalog owners, and rights holders interested in publishing immersive video content.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following information:

Waitlist Information

If you join the waitlist, we may collect:

* Email address
* Name, if provided
* Interest or joining-as category, such as viewer, creator, studio, rights holder, or general updates
* Signup source
* Date and time of signup

Application Information

If you apply to publish on Self Shot VR, we may collect:

* Applicant type, such as independent creator, studio, rights holder, or other
* Display name, brand name, studio name, or company name
* Contact name
* Contact email address
* Country or region
* Portfolio, website, social profile, sample, catalog, or other links you provide
* Content category information, such as SFW, adult, both, or not sure yet
* Primary content format, such as VR180, 360°, 3D, spatial video, flat video, or mixed formats
* Publishing status and approximate catalog size
* Immersive publishing experience
* Messages or other information you choose to submit
* Rights and documentation acknowledgements

Site Activity and Technical Information

When you use the site, we may collect limited technical and activity information, including:

* Pages visited
* Clicks or page events
* Referring page or source, if available
* Browser or device information
* User agent
* Approximate timing of visits
* Hashed IP-related information used for security, analytics, spam prevention, and traffic review

We do not intentionally store raw IP addresses for waitlist and application records where hashed IP storage is used.

Admin Review Information

For internal review, we may create administrative notes, statuses, tags, or review history related to applications and waitlist entries. These internal notes are not public.

2. Information We Do Not Currently Collect

Because Self Shot VR is in pre-launch, we do not currently collect payment card information through the public site.

We also do not currently collect government IDs, performer documentation, tax information, payout information, or formal age-verification documents through the public waitlist or public application form. If such information is required later for creator, studio, performer, age, identity, rights, compliance, or payment purposes, it will be handled through separate onboarding, verification, or compliance processes.

3. How We Use Information

We may use information to:

* Operate and improve the Self Shot VR website and platform
* Send Self Shot VR launch updates and platform announcements to waitlist subscribers
* Review creator, studio, rights holder, and publishing applications
* Communicate with applicants about their submissions
* Evaluate content type, format, readiness, rights, compliance needs, and platform fit
* Prepare for creator, studio, and rights holder onboarding
* Monitor site traffic, page activity, and public interest
* Detect spam, abuse, fraud, or security issues
* Maintain internal business records
* Comply with legal, regulatory, security, or enforcement obligations

We will only use waitlist information to provide Self Shot VR platform updates. We will not sell your waitlist information or use it for unrelated marketing.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information.

We may share information only in limited circumstances, including:

* With service providers that help us operate the website, hosting, email, security, analytics, infrastructure, or administrative systems
* With professional advisors, such as legal, accounting, compliance, or business advisors
* If required by law, regulation, subpoena, court order, legal process, or government request
* To protect the rights, safety, property, security, or integrity of Self Shot VR, users, applicants, creators, studios, rights holders, or others
* In connection with a business transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of assets

Service providers are expected to use information only for the services they provide to us.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Self Shot VR may use cookies, session storage, CSRF protection, and similar technologies to operate the site, protect forms, maintain security, measure site activity, and improve the user experience.

We may also use first-party analytics or event tracking to understand public traffic, page views, clicks, and conversion activity.

6. Email Updates

If you join the waitlist, we may send you Self Shot VR platform updates, launch news, viewer access announcements, creator publishing updates, studio onboarding updates, and related platform information.

You can ask to be removed from the waitlist or stop receiving updates by contacting us at support@selfshotvr.com.

7. Applications and Publishing Review

Submitting an application does not guarantee approval, publishing access, account access, content approval, monetization, or launch participation.

We may use application information to review whether an applicant may be a fit for the platform, whether additional onboarding is appropriate, and whether additional rights, age, identity, performer, compliance, or business documentation may be required before any content can be published.

8. Adult Content and Sensitive Categories

Self Shot VR is being built to support immersive video across SFW and adult categories. Adult content, if supported, will be handled through controlled access, age-appropriate safeguards, and additional review standards.

Do not submit sensitive personal information through public forms unless specifically requested. Public waitlist and application forms are not intended for government IDs, performer documents, medical information, financial account information, tax information, or payment information.

9. Data Retention

We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including platform launch planning, application review, waitlist management, security, legal compliance, business records, and dispute resolution.

We may delete, anonymize, or retain information as appropriate based on operational, legal, security, or business needs.

10. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

No website, database, email system, or internet transmission is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children and Age Restrictions

Self Shot VR is not intended for children. Do not use the site, join the waitlist, or submit an application if you are under 18 years old.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected information from a child, we may delete it.

12. Your Choices and Requests

You may contact us to:

* Ask what information we may have about you
* Request correction or deletion of information
* Ask to be removed from the waitlist
* Withdraw interest in an application
* Ask privacy-related questions

We may need to verify your identity or request additional information before responding to certain requests.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under applicable law.

13. California and Other Privacy Rights

If applicable privacy laws provide you with rights to know, access, correct, delete, or opt out of certain uses of personal information, you may contact us at support@selfshotvr.com to make a request.

We do not sell personal information.

We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of individuals under 16.

14. International Users

Self Shot VR is operated from the United States. If you access the site from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions may be posted on this page with a new effective date. Changes are effective when posted unless stated otherwise.
